Description:

We have a job opportunity for a Technical Expert Smart Panel Metering & Power Quality in our Sales team. In this role, you`ll drive the growth of our digital solutions, software and application portfolio (PME, PSO, Power advisor, metering, power quality, EcoStruxure Power related offers) in the Power Prodcuts and Power Solutions offer for the countries of Bulgaria, Albania, North Macedonia, Kosovo.

What will you do:
  • Work with Offer Managers, Sales Directors and SE partners to determine business needs and solutions.
  • Prepare training and marketing presentations for customers and sales personnel and provide post-sales support to customers as needed.
  • Evaluate new Power System software and hardware products and provide defect and enhancement reports and visit key customers to support specific design problems or competitive situations.
  • Provide basic technical advice and operational support to customers and colleagues across the following areas:
    -Technical analysis of power quality data (Continuity of supply, voltage magnitude, transient voltages and currents, harmonic content in waveforms etc)
-Power quality investigations for targeted customers in key projects among with power quality devices and data acquisition and storage

- Cross-brand conversion of Power products and assembling complete Power products solution.
  • Actively develop as a professional/specialist in the field of Power Products by attending internal and external dedicated training session and participating in various communities.
  • Develop, manage and direct consultant work related to power quality and system studies based on Schneider Electric Power Systems software and hardware.
  • Pre sales support and leading function during prescriprion phase of Power products on the market.
  • Constantly upskilling our network of EcoXperts within the Power products range.


What qualifications will make you successful for this role?

Skills we are looking for:
  • Understand electric system components and activities.
  • Knowledge and ability to analyze and interpret complex electrical engineering systems at customer facilities and on Bulgarian Power's distribution and transmission systems
  • Knowledge and ability to apply problem solving approaches and engineering theory
  • Knowledge and ability to provide recommendations and implement action plans to resolve power quality and/or reliability deficiencies
  • Knowledge and experience required to provide training and/or guidance to internal and external customers in the field of power quality and power systems
  • Applied understanding of all aspects of the discipline obtained through experience, networking, research and other means of professional development
  • Applied understanding of Electrical Power Transmission/ Distribution systems; network performance and quality of supply.
  • Applied understanding of Low and Medium voltage switchgear and protection devices operation, design & applications
  • Analytical, investigation and problem solving skills
  • Any experience with Schneider Electric Power distribution or power management software would be highly regarded.
Experience we are looking for:
  • 2 or more years of electrical engineering and/or automation experience
  • Strong commitment to safety, ability to work safely as an independent worker
  • Experience in control, measurement and protection devices design or operation preferred
  • Customer relations experience preferred
  • Experience using hand held instruments and power quality meters, including interpretation of related data
  • Ability to identify electrical components within panels/equipment and to safely install monitoring devices on live circuits
  • Experience using Power data acquisition systems (or relatable experience) preferred (SCADA, IDMS, etc.)
  • Utility or facility electrical power quality, industrial control systems, industrial electrical facility design, utility distribution, utility substation, and utility transmission.
