Clinical Systems Specialist

What you’ll achieve

As a Clinical Systems Specialist you will be part of Clinical Systems Delivery team of dynamic individuals and teams to deliver projects and support existing customers of Dedalus software with a specialization on Clinical Documentation, CPOE, Charting Systems.

Working with an extended highly skilled team, you will be making a profound impact throughout the healthcare sector.

You will:

  • Act as the subject matter expert for the functional domain assigned and serves as a reference point to product development teams.
  • Perform customer requirement sessions, gap analysis, workflow documentation, prepare test cases, conduct UAT and key user training.
  • Prepare technical design documents for software customization requirements raised by the customer and interlock with product development teams to finalize the design.
  • Interact and coordinate with other internal functional teams and external client teams to ensure the deliverables are delivered to customers in timely manner.
  • Provide Level 2 support for customers for the assigned functional areas.
  • Enable customer support teams, by providing test simulations steps for issues reported or customization delivered to customers.
  • Continuously update of knowledge systems within Dedalus repertoire for Clinical Systems such as Clinical Documentation, CPOE, Operation Theatre, Pharmacy and Clinical Charting with a view to be able to implement for customers

Essential Requirements

  • B.Sc Software Engineering / Computer Science / Information Technology ​Project experience – communication, planning (schedule development, task analysis, effort estimation), organizational (task description, commitment process, standards), performing (schedule mgmt, status reporting, audits), tools (MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Minimum of seven years’ experience, of which at least four years must be specialized experience in use of structured analysis, design methodologies, requirement study, project implementation activities of systems.
  • Experience in design of complex software requirements against business process, working in projects and providing support for customers.
  • Three years’ experience in Clinical Systems such as Clinical Documentation, CPOE, Operation Theatre, Pharmacy and Clinical Charting, either directly in job or in projects deploying solutions around these processes.
  • Experience in Ministry of Health Malaysia business processes and policies is highly desired.

Desirable Requirements

  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills for interacting with senior level customers, internal teams and management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to lead and/or influence multiple teams
  • Ability to quickly adapt to new projects and multiple accounts as needed
  • Ability to identify how information technology can enable the achievement of business objectives
  • Ability to work from home in a suitable environment when necessary and being flexible with working hours as required to work with Dedalus teams in different time zones.
