We are looking for a Senior Process Engineer to provide technical leadership, development and control to the Family care Asset Tissue machine at Askar mill. so that it maintains the highest levels of productivity and profitability while maintaining high EHS and quality levels. Provide technical support to the Operations Team to ensure continuous and
competitive operations, to ensure smooth transition of production at converting section.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve a safe operating environment by promoting and auditing both EHS practices and training measures within the GCC Manufacturing.
- Participate in the design programs that maintain occupational health, EHS andenvironment of the highest standard.
- Comply with Corporate policies, procedures and statutory requirements by attendance at internal and external seminars and courses, reading books and journals and communicating with manufacturers’ representatives and assimilate the information for the purpose of achieving the highest levels of plant reliability and EHS.
- All Regulatory Standards must be followed and achieved.
- Monitor quality conformance, investigate causes of deviation and recommendappropriate solutions. Assist in the maintenance of quality specifications and theCenterline System to enable conformance to both customer requirements and machine capabilities. The development of a comprehensive quality control program that minimize waste and improves customer perception.
- Ensure that the environmental design and operations of the project are within compliance of the standards of the Corporation and the Government.
- Provide technical support on defined projects and ongoing improvements of processes, products and quality through innovative solutions to problems and the application of new technology. Maintain a technical monitoring service to the facility by applying accumulated experience of local technology and keeping abreast of external technology
- Provide professional engineering knowledge and expertise for the solution of Mill daily operating problems. Utilize LEAN Manufacturing tools to address root causes and set standards to avoid repeated failures.
- Develop and provide training programs for Operation crews in order to elevate their knowledge of process and equipment
- Audit and make recommendations for the solution of problems relating to production, cost and quality of all production to assure the attainment of Mill Objectives and compliance with government regulations.
- Recommend items for Capital Budgets and major maintenance budgets and implement project assignments on authorized budgets within the prescribed time limits and cost allowances.
- Statistical analysis of process and quality data utilizing existing tools.
- Continuously seek innovative solutions and lead by example
- The incumbent is responsible for liaising with the suppliers to optimize all materials used.
- Be a lead and role model for the Process engineers that report to him/her
- Successful implementation of projects and trials on various assets and the maintenanceof MSDS’s
- All Material usages to be investigated and optimized
- Implementing center lining and LEAN Manufacturing principles
- Owner of Safety Element standard as part of EHS Management System
- Drive Cost Transformation target with Lever 2 & 4 by improving efficiency and reducing waste as well as optimizing cost of material
- People Management
- Provide coaching and development for teams and individual employees
- Identifies training needs and arranges on-the-job training, and the development ofsubordinates
- Establish a culture of consequence
- Manage the performance assessment sessions for organization. Convey said ratings topeople with specific feedback for improvement
- Manage a succession planning system for your organization, identify potential growthopportunities for people and help them achieve. Identify potential resignation, retirement, etc. and ensure the company is ready for it

To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:
- Graduate Chemical or Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent.
- Min. 5 years of Technical/Production experience in family Care manufacturing
- A strong record of success in process improvement
- Professional credibility
- Lean Six Sigma exposure
- Capable physically to work at Family care environment (Tissue Machine, RO plant, ETP, boiler) and to communicate withcross support team members.
