Position Summary:

1. Under the guidance of line managers, take ownership of one of Kenvue's key categories and lead end-to-end brand management-including brand equity and awareness building, consumer engagement, and multi-channel marketing strategy execution-to drive both short- and long-term sustainable business growth with full P& L responsibility.

2. Lead cross-functional teams (e.g., Sales, Procurement, Supply Chain) and collaborate closely with regional teams to share insights and co-create an exciting future through a scalable innovation pipeline and portfolio expansion.

How does the management trainee program work

Our program offers the next generation of marketing leaders a comprehensive understanding of key commercial functions within the organization, enabling them to effectively contribute to the marketing team and drive business success.

The program will involve a rotational experience across core commercial functions of 18-month period, followed by a dedicated assignment in a marketing role.

This approach aims to build well-rounded professionals who possess a holistic understanding of the business landscape and can leverage insights from various departments in their marketing strategies.

Key Components:

1. Rotational Structure:

Duration: Each rotation will last approximately 4 to 6 months, allowing trainees to deeply engage with each function.

Functions: The program will include rotations in the following key commercial areas/skills:

Customer Development (Sales): Understanding customer needs, Customer interaction, sales strategies, and commercial market dynamics.

eCommerce: Understanding customer needs, online and digital business environment understanding, customer interaction, commercial market dynamic

Data Analysis (CBI/CRM/SSI): Understanding how to collect, process, and interpret data to support decision-making by transforming raw data into meaningful insights that enhance business strategies, streamline operations, and uncover new opportunities.

Brand Marketing: Marketing strategy development, product management, marketing plan execution, cross-functional collaboration

2. Marketing Position Assignment:

• After completing the rotations, trainees will be assigned to a specific brand marketing role that aligns with their strengths and interests . This position will leverage their acquired knowledge from rotations to create impactful marketing strategies.

3. Training and Development:

On-boarding; Trainee will receive assimilation training during the first 2 months to build required skillsets before starting their rotations.

Mentorship: Each trainee will be paired with a mentor from the marketing team who will provide guidance, feedback, and support throughout the program.

Workshops and Seminars: Regular training sessions will cover essential marketing skills, industry trends, digital marketing, analytics, and branding.

Performance Reviews: Quarterly evaluations to assess progress, set goals, and provide constructive feedback.

4. Networking Opportunities:

• Trainees will have opportunities to network with senior leaders, participate in cross-functional team projects, and engage in team-building activities to foster collaboration and teamwork.

5. Evaluation and Success Measurement:

• Trainee performance will be evaluated based on their adaptability, learning agility, contributions during rotations, and overall readiness for the marketing role.

• Successful completion of the program will be marked by a formal presentation where trainees showcase their learnings and proposed marketing strategies based on insights gained during their rotations.

• Education: University/Bachelors Degree or Equivalent Degree (preferred in Marketing, Communications, or related field, but not necessary)

• Language: Native or fluent in Japanese, written/verbal communication in English preferred

Desired Qualifications

• Creative problem-solving skills to overcome obstacles and drive innovation

• Advanced analytical skills and proficiency in MSOffice and other statistical applications

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey ideas and information
