This position reports to Senior Director, Business Unit Leader, Consumer Health Japan and is based at Kudan office, Tokyo.

What you will do
Position Summary
• This role is responsible and lead for all Consumer Health brand portfolio (oral care, wound care, skin health, OTC, and baby) media strategy, planning, execution to achieve brand visions and business targets together with brand team. The role is expected to lead the design of total brand experience including traditional media, emerging media, professional media, and PR activity, influencer engagement with the deepest understanding of consumer, brands, business and media environment/ counterpart insight. The role strongly partners with brand team and external media agency partner to come up with the best media plan/ mix to achieve business KPI.
Role Duty & Responsibilities
Total Brand Experience Planning
• Lead End-to-end media strategy to achieve each franchise business goal
• Leverage full expert of multiple media touch point understanding and experience from traditional media, digital media, emerging media, professional media and PR
• Need strong collaboration and engagement skill to drive and engage external media agency as well as internal stakes holders i.e. each brand, franchise team
• Management of external agency from setting right KPI, alignment of deliverables, and yearly planning
• Work closely with Asia Pacific/Northeast Asia Cluster Digital analytics
Grow People
• Create a strong team. Grow talent through effective recruitment, development, coaching.
• Support to grow brand team by equipping the basic knowledge for media
Budget/ Business Management
• Prioritizes and ensures resources are focused to deliver portfolio objectives by understanding the latest business situation and each brand objective/priority
• Accountable to manage the budget and come up with the best way to spend
• Media agency fee management
Related Experience & Behavior, Competency
• Minimum of 5 years of communication/activation experience and/or minimum of 5 years of media planning/buying experience
• Track record of communication planning/execution initiatives
• Led project management liaising with Financial, R& D, Regulatory Affairs, Legal, Corporate Affairs, Sales and GFO/NEA Cluster
• Identify consumer insight and unmet needs by stretching the connection and adapt the learning to Communication vision
• Become a catalyst to change the game by bringing communication innovation via consumer needs creation. Willing to change the risk to achieve the change
• Create the strong team which enable to achieve the goals through sharing the objective, priority setting and resource planning. Get approval from key stakeholders such as Japan Leadership Team and Asia Pacific Region/Northeast Asia Cluster
• Pro-actively works with Asia Pacific Region/Northeast Asia cluster on global/regional initiatives
• Behave as a role model by achieving the goal by engaging and motivating the team in an appropriate manner
• Obtaining business owner mindset. Orchestrate the team to achieve the business goals by foreseeing the risks ahead and pro-actively works on the contingency plan
• Excite Kenvue and Asia Pacific Region by delivering Total Brand Experience best practice
• Native/fluent level of Japanese, business level of English
Expertise/Skill
• Business performance tracking: P& L management/market data analysis/business driver analysis
• Data analysis using media/digital analytics/social listening tools
• Media expertise in both KPI tracking and planning
• Digital marketing expertise
