All Medical Affairs leaders and members
Responsible:
Supports VP Head of Medical Affairs in cascading the MAS to the organization – outlining strategy, execution progress, challenges and business requests.
Enhance information exchanges platforms
Support VP MAF Head in managing talent strategy & performance management systems.
Accountable:
MAS Department
Accountable for managing MAS resources including budget and headcounts
Supervise optimizing MAS dept capabilities
Driving Medical Affairs Strategies
Lead MAF strategy planning - co-creating the Medical Affairs strategy (MAS) with the VP Head of Medical Affairs, leading execution of the strategy across MAF teams aligned with the MAF strategic mission, vision and value proposition (MVV). Evaluating, developing and implementing strategies designed to further accelerate MAF competitiveness
Actively cascade and engage MAF teams to understand the MAS and execute them
Setting appropriate benchmarks, implement & track MAF performance expectations. Implementing and analyzing the performance expectations with functional directors. Implementing & tracking performance expectations systems.
Tracking and evaluating overall MAF functional performance, escalating challenges for MALT to resolve
Actively collaborates and motivate functional directors to increase competitiveness of the functional excellence and alignment with MAS agenda.
Driving functional excellence and alignment. Works in close collaboration with other functional directors to ensure adequate communication to MAF Leadership Team
Strategic partnerships to accelerate the competitiveness of MAF to maximize the value and reach of MAF as a valued strategic partner & trusted scientific leader in alignment with MAF & Business strategy.
Develop & implement MAS to motivate MAF with a winning and growth mindset to increase competitiveness. Driving team engagement to enable MAF’s active & positive culture (winning & growth mindset)
Driving solutions & implementation of change management
Implement launch frameworks to drive competitiveness
Conduct internal Medical Affairs Event (e.g. Town hall meeting)
Managing operational budget and allocating human resources in align with Medical Affairs plan
Establishing good relationship with internal stakeholders (BU/R& D/AP; group level, individual issue or task oriented)
Managing MAF budget and allocating human resources
