Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced senior marketing manager to lead the strategic marketing efforts for our upcoming product launch in a highly competitive market. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in product marketing, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for innovative marketing strategies that drive market penetration and brand recognition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategy Development and Market Analysis: Lead the development and execution of a launch marketing strategy and go-to-market engagement plan for an emerging innovative pipeline product in Immuno-Dermatology, drawing from deep customer and market insights
- Product Launch Planning: Lead the planning and execution of the product launch as part of New Product Introduction (NPI) launch readiness working with cross functional team. Ensure timely delivery of marketing strategy and execution. Oversee the development of promotional strategies across multiple channels, including digital, print, and events. Manage budgets associated with launch activities, ensuring optimal allocation of resources.
- Brand Management: Develop and maintain a strong brand identity for the product, ensuring consistent positioning and messaging across all platforms. Drive the development of a compelling Omnichannel messaging content strategy to amplify key brand messages and engage our target audience.
- Financial Stewardship: Support the creation of annual financial forecasts, strategically managing budgets to meet and exceed financial performance targets.
- Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration: Engage with external stakeholders, including healthcare professionals and key opinion leaders, to gather insights and advocate for the product. Foster relationships with internal teams including marketing, sales, medical affairs, and regulatory and external vendor partners to ensure cohesive messaging and compliance with industry standards. Build and nurture relationships with global and regional partners to ensure strategic alignment and knowledge-sharing across functions.
- Performance Tracking and Market Adaptation: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing efforts. Utilize comprehensive marketing metrics and campaign performance analytics to execute informed, data-driven decisions that enhance marketing effectiveness.
- Team Leadership and Development: Collaborate closely with the Immuno-Dermatology marketing team to ensure cohesion in therapeutic area portfolio strategies. Foster a culture of creativity and collaboration within the marketing team to generate innovative ideas and solutions through coaching and mentorship.
Qualifications:
- A relevant degree in Sciences, Communications, Business Administration, or Commerce.
- Business-level language proficiency in Japanese and English, with exceptional communication and presentation abilities.
- Proven experience in the pharmaceutical industry or related sectors, demonstrating a strong background in marketing strategies.
Required Experience and Skills:
- Extensive strategic marketing experience, particularly in product launches and brand management.
- Financial acumen to manage forecast throughout business plan
- Experience on people management and development is strongly preferred
- Sales experience is preferred
- Expertise in managing advertising agencies and vendors to execute effective marketing campaigns.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in marketing analytics to drive data-focused marketing strategies.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate across functions to deliver on-time and on-budget marketing initiatives.
- A solid understanding of pharmaceutical business operations, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- A strong commitment to health care compliance and ethical marketing practices.
Reporting Structure:
This position reports to the Marketing Director, Immuno-Dermatology, J& J IM Japan.
