The Owned Channel Webportal Lead is responsible overseeing operations of the Janssen Pro (JPro) web portal and leading CX driven innovation in our owned website with the goal of achieving industry leading owned channel engagement. This role requires exceptional stakeholder management skills who can independently lead complex projects effectively, ensuring that JPro delivers an exceptional customer experience to drive business impact.
Key Responsibilities:
Operations Management
- Maintain ongoing channel operations to support day to day business.
- Continuously enhance operations by identifying opportunities for automation & streamlining of processes through innovation.
- Ensure operations are conducted with the highest level of compliance
- Ensure that content management adheres to J& J’s compliance and promotional information guidelines.
- Prepare and manage the budget related to JPro enhancement & operations optimizing ROI for all activities.
Implementation of Digital strategy to support business goals
- Lead the execution of projects associated with the continuous improvement of the JPro portal, aligned with digital strategy & JP IM business goals
- Proactively contribute to key responsibilities & tasks to drive project progress.
- Utilize strong project management methodologies to track progress, mitigate risks, and deliver results on time and within budget.
- Proactively contribute to agile core team squads of cross-functional teams including Business Units (BUs), IT, and external vendors to drive project success and operational enhancements.
- Ensure that enhancements are effectively operationalized with clear RRs & workflows
- Apply exemplary CX driven thinking to continuously understand customer needs & pain points to improve the customer experience coupled with experience to implement compliant channel enhancement
Stakeholder Engagement
- Effectively communicate across a complex matrix of cross functional internal stakeholders (BU, IT, APAC, Commercial Excellence), building strong relationships and support to foster joint responsibility & contribution to achieve business goals.
- Engage with senior management (Directors, Sr Directors, VP) to understand & translate overarching business strategies into actionable plans that drive JPro’s performance & user experience that achieves measurable business impact.
- Provide regular updates and insights to senior leadership on JPro’s performance and aligned to strategic goals
- Proactively represent Japan’s needs to collaborate effectively on joint APCE select initiatives that are scaled across Asia Pacific markets
- Conduct regular stakeholder meetings to gather feedback, report on project status, and identify new opportunities for improvement.
- Contribute to enhancing digital marketing capabilities through engagements with Marketing, Marketing Excellence by supporting trainings & creating best practice guidance for web engagement, SEO, web content creation
Analysis
- Lead KPI setting & tracking to establish strong foundation for assessing JPro performance to achieve business impact
- Provide ongoing analysis & insights on digital channel performance, engagement & experience that supports digital strategy & brand objectives.
- Analyze existing JPro processes and metrics, identifying areas for enhancement to optimize operational efficiency.
- Leverage data-driven insights to inform decisions pertaining to JPro enhancement & strategy at all levels of stakeholders
Thought Leadership
- Stay informed about industry and market trends of pharmaceutical Industry, conduct competitive analysis, and reflect this understanding in JPro strategy
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement, fostering innovation and
- responsiveness to evolving market and customer needs.
Qualifications:
- Foundational knowledge of the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry
- Digital Marketing Experience
- Experience managing digital channels (websites, social media, email marketing, etc.)
- Knowledge and practical experience with digital advertising and SEO/SEM
- Analytical Skills
- Experience using data analysis tools (Google Analytics, Tableau, etc.)
- Ability to set KPIs and monitor performance
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to derive actionable insights from data.
- Communication Skills in both Japanese and English
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in business level English to navigate both local & regional discussions.
