POSITION SUMMARY
In the following areas, accountable for execution as a leader of a Medical Strategy team, supporting the Medical Transformation & Strategy Director, and leading cultural transformation, formulating timely strategies tailored to the environment with the same perspective as the MAF Head, implementing change management locally, and playing a role in showcasing outcome beyond country.
- Accountable for working with Head of Medical Affairs (MA), Medical Affairs Leadership Team (MALT) and other key functions/regions to build MA organizational strategy, strengthen competitiveness and accelerate execution.
- Accountable for analyzing organizational situation, identifying challenges in forming high performance team and proposing solutions to MA Head, Medical Transformation & Strategy Director and MALT as a strategic partner to solve the problem.
- Accountable for achieving optimal visibility of the outcomes of Scientific Engagement (SE) activities by tracking and properly aligning performance expectations (KPIs) of SE activities. And create and regularly update templates for reviewing MA performance and promote optimal visibility at various meetings in the company. In addition, establish a system to detect performance delays early, enable timely decisions and actions, and foster a result-oriented culture.
- Accountable for leading resource management in collaboration with finance/HR and supporting decision-making to optimize resource allocation at the timing of regular Business Reviews.
- Accountable for working with the finance team to manage the budget and ensure thorough management to promote the realization of " strategy-first" and " execution-focused" .
- Accountable for promote effective market entry by establishing and standardizing the MAF launch framework in Japan.
- Accountable for effective and efficient management of the information sharing platform in MA.
- Accountable for building and strengthening a structure where MALT and each department proactively manages performance and is accountable for results.
- Accountable for developing people management guides that addressee specific challenges within the organization, supporting the development of people manager' s leadership and management capabilities, and improving organizational engagement.
- Accountable for supporting the development and growth of future MA leaders and People Managers, and accelerate the development of next-generation leaders in conjunction with the evaluation framework.
EDUCATION
Required: BA/BS
RELATED EXPERIENCE:
- Work experience of more than 3 years in pharmaceutical industry is preferred, preferably in Medical Affairs
- 5+ years of experience involved in the life science or medical science is preferred.
- Work experience of more than 2 years as project management is preferred
- Work experience of more than 3 years related organizational strategy is preferred
- Work experience of more than 3 years related marketing strategy is preferred
- Work experience of more than 3 years organizational Resource management and consulting is preferred
- Sufficient experience in human resource development and organizational management as a leader of the organization is preferred.
