This position reports into the EMEA Intermarket Logistics Sr Manager and is based in Prague,
Czechia.

What you will do
O operational execution of Inbound Transportation in the EMEA region. Ensure reliable and costefficient supply of local Affiliates DCs from Manufacturing Sites and Regional Hubs. The focus for
this role will be the close collaboration and partnership with the different functions. The goal is to
streamline processes, reduce cost, enhance the transportation network, and improve the
effectiveness of regional transportation operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Drive value in the EMEA region through optimized regional transportation flows for Inbound
Freight from the Manufacturing sites to affiliates hubs and distributor DCs, as well as interaffiliate stock moves within EMEA region.
• Represent IBF Transportation in E2E Supply Chain projects, driving operational
implementation, optimization and E2E value across finished goods, raw material and APIs
• Support building, tracking and managing IBF Transportation budget: deliver on CIP targets
through operational improvements whiles ensuring service, quality, reliability and
compliance.
• Partner with Plan and Make organizations to optimize loading and transport operations and
drive efficiencies in E2E processes from Make to Affiliate Hubs / DCs;
• Collaborate with other Deliver functions (market D& T Operations, Procurement,
GDEx/RDEx, Packaging, Safety and Trade Compliance/Customs).
• Work in close alignment with Commercial Quality to ensure investigations and other
records are maintained and closed in due time, in accordance with regulatory and
compliance requirements.
• Manage relationships with 3PL / 4PL (Control Towers) via metrics and drive continuous
improvements
• Promote issue resolution with a sense of urgency, proactively demonstrating sense of
ownership
• Deliver: Alignment with Regional leadership on segment priorities
• Make: Actively manage interface with Make to optimize product flows
• Plan: Actively engage with Demand & Supply Planning for transport capacity planning,
reliability and adherence to SLAs
• Procurement: active co-operation to decrease transport rates and prepare data for tender
process
• GDx/RDx: Assess operational maturity and define and execute continuous improvement
priorities
• Compliance: Jointly focus on creating competitive advantage through quality and
compliance
• Regional Distribution: Actively manages interface with Distribution operations to optimize
product flows E2E

What we are looking for
Required Qualifications
• Degree: University degree in Logistics / Supply Chain / Business
• Languages: Fluent in English, other European languages is a plus
• Minimum 5 years in E2E Supply chain related disciplines, good understanding of order-tocash process
• Subject Matter Expertise across core Transportation, Planning and Carrier /3PL-4PL
management, knowledge of import / export processes and systems, mainly across road and
ocean transportation modes
• E2E mindset and collaborative, Customer focused approach. Good stakeholder
management, ability to partner with and influence others without direct authority
• Innovative mindset with capability for problem solving, compliance orientation/GDP
knowledge/quality mindset, business case development and trade-off alignment
• Ability to drive continuous improvement and build best practices in Operations efficiency
with a focus on Transportation management to drive E2E value for EMEA
• Strong analytical skills and affinity to numbers: ability to support budgeting and financial
reconciliation processes
• Process orientation with mindset for continuous improvement. Lean certification is a plus.
• Good communication and presentation skills paired with ability to conceptualize.
• Good Project management and change management skills
