What You Will Do
Financial Analyst opportunity to join Kenvue within the Global Procurement Finance team. In this role you will ideate, build and develop data analytics tools and dashboards that will be used by both finance and procurement organizations globally.
You will contribute to metrics design, concept visualization, user trainings and will drive adoption through accurate and timely reporting and dashboards. The role relies on building close business partnerships with stakeholders to establish and maintain customized dashboards that address evolving metrics across direct and indirect procurement spend.
The successful candidate will be able to work across departments in a matrix organization and effectively drive alignment between regional and global teams to drive simplification, automation and efficiency.
The Financial Analyst in this role will support decision making related to sourcing strategies, supplier negotiations as well as monthly and quarterly performance management reporting (Act vs FCST). This position requires data manipulation proficiency and report building skills such as KNIME/SQL/Alteryx/Advanced Excel as well as an understanding of financial concepts such as P& L, preferably in supply chain finance.
The successful candidate will proactively drive data quality, harmonization and clean up to drive transparency, visibility of key financial metrics including, but not limited to, Purchase Price Variance (PPV), Cost Improvement Projects, Commodity Inflation/Deflation and Strategic Investments.
They will support Business Planning as well as quarterly financial updates cycles as well as SKU/franchise and Brand analytics. A process driven and innovation mindset will be critical to the success of this role to build, improve and contribute to transparency in reporting and effective leadership communication.
Responsibilities
• Data Consolidation and Reporting: Financial Data Manipulation, Consolidation and Reporting, data management and data quality insurance. Creation and adoption of state-of-the-art dashboards and presentations of scorecards/KPIs to leadership
• Financial Analytics: Conduct ad hoc financial and procurement analyses related to commodity inflation, cost improvements and category strategies to drive decision-making.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Contribute to business planning, quarterly updates, and yearly financial activities like cost setting, delivering actionable business insights to key stakeholders.
• Process Improvement: Lead efforts to simplify processes, reduce complexity, and increase transparency within procurement finance. Set up the organization for success by establishing accurate and reliable data source.
What We Are Looking For
Required Qualifications
• Education: A minimum of a bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, engineering or related fields.
• Experience : 3-5 years of relevant experience in business intelligence, data science and financial analysis either in finance, procurement finance or related fields.
Skills:
• Strong analytical abilities, including the ability to interpret and model financial data.
• Proficiency in data manipulation, with knowledge of Knime (preferred) and SQL (desirable).
• Proficiency in financial systems such as SAP, Microsoft Office (Excel), and BI tools, specifically PowerBI.
• The ability to communicate complex concepts clearly.
• Prior experience working with BI/dashboards and reporting for procurement or finance will be considered a plus.
• Language: Advanced/Fluent English.
