Join our Secure Power team and support customers across data centers, hospitals, industry and public services by keeping their UPS systems operating safely and efficiently.
This role includes
significant travel and offers a varied workday with real responsibility in the field.
What you will do- Install, commission, inspect, maintain, troubleshoot and repair UPS systems and related power equipment.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on customer sites, always following Schneider Electric's safety and cybersecurity procedures.
- Use digital tools (ServiceMax, OnSite, TIPI, Enablon) for reporting, documentation and installed-base updates.
- Analyse faults using electrical diagrams, testing tools and system documentation to identify and resolve issues.
- Provide clear technical guidance, status updates and recommendations to customers about system performance.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships, acting as a trusted point of contact for service-related needs.
- Identify service or upgrade opportunities that improve customer reliability and efficiency.
- Support planners and coordinators by preparing site conditions, recording time, and ensuring full traceability of all work.
What makes you successful- Electrical background: Electrician Certificate (Group L) or relevant technical education (technical college, vocational school or bachelor).
- Experience with UPS, electrical installations or field service is an advantage training and certifications are provided.
- Strong troubleshooting ability with a methodical and safety-focused approach.
- Good communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to customers.
- Ability to travel extensively and work independently in the field.
- High awareness of safety, quality and accurate documentation.
