We are searching for the best talent for Senior Product Manager for Joint Hip Replacement in Orthopaedics to be in Seoul.

Purpose: The J& J Orthopaedics Marketing team in Seoul, Korea is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead our Joint Hip portfolio and associated enabling technologies.

J& J Orthopaedics commercializes a wide range of innovative surgical solutions including implants and technologies, designed to address some of today's most pressing degenerative diseases.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with an elite team and contribute significantly to the success of our Joint Hip portfolio. The Senior Product Manager will play a pivotal role in driving commercial marketing initiatives within the Joint Hip Replacement platform.

Key responsibilities include driving commercial results while managing the core implant portfolio, leading the launch of new products in Korea, expanding the market by integrating innovative enabling technologies, developing brand strategy, identifying customer insights, cultivating key customer relationships, and supporting the operational execution of the business.

This position offers a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience in the healthcare industry and positively impact patients' lives. In this role, you will not only gain experience in overall healthcare marketing but also reshape the market by utilizing enabling technologies.

You will be responsible for:

  • Lead and support the product strategy and lifecycle management for hip joint replacement solutions, including exciting enabling technologies like VHN and Kincise.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams – Joint Knee, Robotic & Digital Solutions (RAS) Marketing, Sales, Regulatory, and HEMA – to bring innovative products to market.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and surgeon feedback to discover new opportunities and improve our portfolio.
  • Create and launch engaging marketing campaigns, educational programs, and promotional materials to increase product and technology adoption.
  • Explore and lead creative direct patient marketing initiatives such as the Patient Implant Card, directly enhancing patient experience and trust.
  • Develop channel strategies and targeted programs to capture competitive share and improve profitability.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with surgeons, hospitals, and key opinion leaders to better understand the clinical landscape and customer needs.
  • Deliver product and technology training to internal sales teams and healthcare professionals, helping them succeed in the field.
  • Work together with Supply Chain and Marketing Operations teams to solve platform supply challenges and improve operational efficiency.
  • Keep up with the latest in Orthopaedics and MedTech to ensure our portfolio stays ahead of industry trends.

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required. MBA Preferred.
  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in healthcare industry.
  • Proven ability to lead projects and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to support product launches and training. (10% overnight travel may be required)
  • Proficient in speaking and writing in English

Preferred:

  • Demonstrated clinical and anatomical knowledge of orthopedic procedures.
  • Prior experience in ownership of marketing strategy, team/brand budget, and forecast.
  • Strategic thinking, sound business acumen, and creative problem solving.
  • Ability to communicate complex technology to a non-technical audience.
