Position Overview
The Marketing Manager position is a key role within the China commercial marketing team for the Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine Solid Tumor business. This position reports directly to associate director of solid tumor marketing. The position will be responsible to support day-to-day business and the development & execution of the commercial tools, programs, tied to PC product strategy and precision medicine commercial strategy. The role will leverage analytics and reporting to develop go-to-market strategies for new products.

Essential Job Functions
• Achieve annual business plan objectives of sales, net income, gross profit, inventory, and price.
• Lead and execute impactful product launches, including pricing strategy, promotional planning, sales force product training, sales forecasting, customer targeting, inventory allocation and roll-out.
• Create strategy and execute marketing activities for national and regional professional society conferences and meetings.
• Develop commercial strategy for precision medicine to improve genetic testing rate of urinary tumor.
• Serve as the subject matter expert for our products, key marketing strategies and products, and the innovation landscape.
• Partner closely with sales teams to gather input on customer needs, and ensure strong alignment with product strategy and develop relationships with customers and key targets.
• Work closely with the product manager to develop and execute an effective business plan that drives growth and profitability.
• Deliver results through cross-functional collaboration with key business partners, including field sales organization, medical team, professional education team, and other cross-functional partners.
• Identify and communicate targeting opportunities and business enhancements through robust analysis of the business to support treatment upgrades and sales conversions.
• Cultivate positive relationships between marketing and sales teams and ensure focus on meeting customer’s need and be a positive agent for change within the organization.
• Responsible for communicating business-related issues or opportunities to the next management Level.
• Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all national, local, and Company regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Performs other duties assigned as needed

Qualifications
• A minimum of a BA/BS in Marketing or a related business field is required.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience within the marketing, or related field
• MBA with a minimum of 3 years of marketing experience is highly preferred.
• Urology experience preferred, oncology or healthcare marketing experience is required.
• Experience working in a global organization and collaborating with cross functional groups is preferred.
• Product launch experience is preferred.
• Candidates must have effective communication and influencing skills, be able to work in a team environment, and be customer/market oriented.
• Ability to work within a team and lead a cross functional team in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Strong business analytics and forecasting, customer insights development, understanding of core marketing levers are required.
• Proven record of marketing including product positioning, and marketing campaigns with strong analytical skills (proficient in Excel, trending, statistical analysis, P& L analysis, and database exposure) to measure results required.
• Strong presentation skills, executive presence, customer relations skills, and consistent record of respect and connections with field organizations are required.
• Proven, strong competencies in results orientation, strategic thinking, analytical thinking, communication, sense of urgency, teamwork/collaboration and emotional intelligence are required.
• Project management capabilities – ability to manage complex project workstreams across multiple dimensions, with internal and external partners is preferred.
• Must possess demonstrated leadership and delivery of consistently strong results.
• Must live into core leadership behaviors of trust, agility, and ownership.

This position is in Beijing, China and requires up to 40% domestic travel including weekends.
