Supports Labor/Employee Relations Manager to provide a high level of service to employees and to Supports Labor/Employee Relations Manager to provide a high level of service to employees and to other members of the Human Resources community. Works closely with HR business partners on all employee related issues. Serves as the first line contact to human resources by providing guidance and assistance to employees for policy inquiries and employee related issues.
[Responsibilities]
- Answer employee questions and issues through telephone, email, and face-to-face communication.
- Assist in communicating policy updates and changes to employees.
- Gather information and conduct initial investigation/preparation of employee relations cases.
- Explain company and governmental rules, regulations and procedures and the need for compliance to managers and employees.
- Prepare/support a negotiation about salary & CBA with labor Union and Labor-Management Council for cross-operating companies and follow up the agreed agenda.
- Monitor employee/labor relations trends through research and benchmarking. Prepares periodic updates regarding internal and external trends and identifies improvement/correction area in accordance with related labor laws by conducting risk assessments.
- Handle ER documents and data via data management tool.
- Cope with government officers such as Ministry of Employment and Labor, Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs, Korea Employment Agency for Persons with Disabilities and others.
[Qualification]
- BA Degree is required.
- Must have a good command of English in writing and speaking.
- 1~2 years of related Human Resource experience is required.
- Strong communication, presentation, interpersonal, negotiating and influencing skills are required.
