Job Description:

Conducts advanced assessments and impact analyses of the current regulatory environment and utilizes results to inform on commercial decisions and innovation strategies that enhance organizational growth and visibility.

Contributes to the development of complex advocacy strategies that encompass corporate goals and policy position by utilizing project management tools, risk and impact analyses, and stakeholder feedback.
Evaluates the regulatory environment for new industry standards, compliance requirements, and regulation changes. Conducts impact assessments to gain insight on potential strategy modifications.
Collaborates with senior team members in developing methods and training processes that mitigate regulatory risk by ensuring the accurate recording, tracking, and reporting of compliance-based processes and operations.
Serves as a subject matter expert on government affairs and regulatory compliance and offers feedback and advice on critical regulatory matters.
Facilitates communications and engagement opportunities with industry coalitions and advocacy groups in order to disseminate information on the organization’s policy agenda.

Manages strategic relations with both central and local government agencies.
Guides junior colleagues through consultation and mentoring in techniques and processes, and provides functional (matrix) supervision.
