Description:

GENERAL ROLE

Responsible for accurate accounting of sales, accounts receivable, and VAT, ensuring timely cash collection and treasury operations in compliance with internal and external regulations. Liaise with banks, auditors, and tax authorities.

This is a maternity leave cover contract position with a duration of 18 months.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Sales & AR Management
  • Ensure accurate daily sales interface and reconciliation between EPOS and SAP
  • Monitor cash and card collections, AR aging, and resolve discrepancies
  • Prepare AR entries and issue tax invoices
  • Perform AR reconciliation
  • Perform margin correction
  • Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports

2. Treasury
  • Prepare and process payments (Domestic & Overseas)
  • Manage FX hedging contracts
  • Perform bank reconciliations, Kyriba exceptional report
  • Cash flow forecasting
  • Prepare treasury reports and ensure compliance with group policies


3. Closing & Reporting
  • Support monthly and quarterly closing, reporting, and audits


4. Tax & Compliance
  • Assist with VAT filing, withholding tax, and corporate tax return
  • Provide required information to auditors and authorities
  • Assist in stock take
  • Other ad hoc matters

REQUIREMENTS & CAPABILITIES
  • Minimum 3 years of accounting experience
  • Experience in the treasury department is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and VAT
  • Proficiency in SAP, MS Excel; Cognos, Kyriba preferred
  • Detail-oriented, team player, able to manage multiple tasks under pressure
  • Good command of English
