The Role: Senior Customer Project Manager, Global Application Center Digital PowerWhat will you do?- Organize & manage the project team and suppliers. Monitor their progress in line with the project plan (scope, schedule and budget) till full completion
- Insure effective communication within the team for the best team coordination and motivation
- Manage the project contract insuring fulfilment of Schneider Electric contractual obligations and application of its contractual rights
- Ensure all appropriate actions to timely recover customer receivables (payments, Bonds, ...) are done with the support of the share functions
- Monitor, control & report the project execution status, progress & KPIs. Ensure full & effective reporting to the management (reports, project reviews, ...)
- Inform the management about project events impacting the project performance or compliance with governance principles in a timely manner
- Assess the analysis of all kinds of risks & opportunities (Financial, technical, commercial, ...). Define and carry out the necessary actions till successful completion to avoid or mitigate risks and achieve opportunities. Manage claims & variation orders
- Drive customer relationship (including end-user if applicable), leading and organizing all project team interactions with customer organizations (correspondences, emails, calls, meetings, ...). Insure the highest level of customer satisfaction
- Take full accountability over the project quality and profitability (cost, cash flow & margin) including forecasting, engagement follow-ups & re-forecasting. Ensure timely revenue recognition as per the forecast. Implement profitability improvement actions
- Ensure that the project team and suppliers are executing the project in full compliance with Schneider Electric processes, ethics, quality instructions and governance principles. Take all necessary actions to prevent or correct any deviations or quality issues occurring during the project execution
- Handle the Project transfer from Selling to Execution phases successfully through proactive involvement with the Sales & Tendering team prior to the transfer
- Organize the project supply chain, and resources' availability in due coordination with the Engineering Team Leaders
- Contribute to the PM Community of Practice within the Execution Center and globally within the Execution Center network. Identify, formalize, share and promote lessons learned and best practices
- Support pre-sales discussions
- Manage the overall supply chain for some C& SP key accounts in APAC region in due coordination with other regions
What qualifications will make you successful for this role?- Engineering Master Degree, MBA is a plus
- PMP Certification, previous management experience is a plus
- Minimum 5 years in Customer Project Management in the energy business
- Strong technical background in SCADA or energy management solutions or electrical networks
- Experience in at least two segments: Oil & Gas, Data Center, Smart Buildings, Utility, Transport
- Strong communication skills, effective in a cross-cultural environment to foster collaboration towards a common goal
- Capacity to drive/lead remote teams
- Strong technical competencies in the energy management business and Schneider Electric solutions
- Proven leadership skills in project context focusing despite stress and headwinds in business objectives
- Ability to understand, influence & convince in a complex matrix organization
- Creative and a problem solver, foster cooperation
- Advanced competencies in the project controlling process, scope management, and claim management
- Willing to travel as needed; approximately 10% - 20% internationally
