The Role: Head of Strategy and Business Development, East Asia, Power Systems

Mission:

As the Head of Strategy and Business Development for Power Systems in East Asia, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive 3-5 year strategy. You will lead the deployment and annual refresh of strategic initiatives, identify opportunities in the new energy landscape, and conduct market studies to optimize our go-to-market strategies, channels, offerings, and supply chain.

What will you do?
  • Develop and implement a 3-5 year strategic plan for Power Systems in East Asia.
  • Identify and analyze new energy landscape trends and conduct market studies (segment, GTM, channel, offer, supply chain).
  • Lead and drive transformation initiatives focused on C2O4R, Green, Digital, and Software solutions.
  • Collaborate with the Business Value Proposition (BVP) team to build and support the Annual Market Strategy Plan (AMSP), including monthly follow-ups.
  • Conduct new market studies, compile findings, and create comprehensive reports for stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with segment teams to build segment knowledge and drive strategic initiatives.
  • Communicate and present strategic insights and recommendations effectively to senior leadership and stakeholders.


What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
  • 10+ years of experience in the energy industry, with a strong focus on business strategy and transformation.
  • MBA is preferred.
  • Proven experience in leading business strategy and transformation initiatives; consultancy experience is a plus.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the market ecosystem in the energy sector.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to build and drive actionable strategies.
  • Strong collaborative skills to work effectively with segment teams and stakeholders.
  • Excellent leadership skills to manage and guide complex virtual teams.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills to convey strategic insights clearly and persuasively.
