What You Will Do

The position is responsible for:
  • Ensuring that there is end-to-end visibility between Kenvue and EM or inter-region affiliates on different elements of supply plan and allowing both parties to achieve an optimal plan.
  • Creating and maintaining a constrained Master Production Schedule (MPS) that balances supply and demand.
  • Generating once month in partnership with EM or inter-region affiliates a rough-cut capacity plan (RCCP) to review constraints and raise for decision making tradeoff between inventory, costs and service.
  • Coordinating the integration of MPS output with the commercial plan through Sales & Operations Execution (S& OE)

Key Responsibilities

1. Collaborative RCCP
  • Partner with EMs or inter-region affiliates to understand supply assumptions and translate assumptions into planning parameters/constraints of the supply planning system.
  • Share net requirements to EMs or inter-regional affiliates and collaboratively construct a feasible and optimized RCCP.
  • Controls RCCP while adhering to the contractual framework and service level agreement (SLA).
  • Collaborates with EMs or inter-region affiliates to review RCCP, identify gaps, build alternatives, trade off scenarios and proposed solutions.

2. Collaborative Material Planning
  • Collect raw and pack material requirements within Kenvue's sourcing responsibility and consolidate with broader material requirements to guarantee availability.
  • Collaborate on right material planning strategy to enable end-to-end supply to support RCCP.

3. Collaborative MPS
  • Maintain and update the planning assumptions gathered in the RCCP process and integrate these into Master Data.
  • Share net requirements over the MPS horizon with EMs and inter-region affiliates and jointly review current plan status by balancing with capacity, material, inventory targets and latest open purchase order status.
  • 4. Others
  • Align with EMs and inter-region affiliates mid to long term supply plan and resources required for it.
  • Provides supply response and inventory plan for Supply Review including any escalation for leadership approval and decision making.
  • Collaborate with EMs and inter-region affiliates to provide short-term supply response to latest demand signal.
  • Share purchase order with EM and inter-region affiliate and jointly keeping it updated according to SLAs, contracts, latest RCCP and MPS.
  • Collaborate with Project Management Organization and Initiative Planning for execution of innovation projects and phase-in/phase-out.

Key Performance Indicators:
  • Service: On-Time In-Full Delivery (OTIF-D), Supplier OTIF
  • Inventory: DOS - Gross Inventory, SKU Inventory Health
  • Cost: SLOB expense
  • In-process KPIs: Master data quality, Capacity Utilization Rate, Schedule attainment

Qualifications:

Knowledge, Skills and Capabilities
  • Has a good understanding of the financial flows and associated product flows.
  • Proactive thinker with ability to see the big picture but being able to debate the details.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with senior management
  • In depth knowledge of Supply Planning and its discipline. Able to see the big picture as well as deep dive into the details in both processes, execution and systems
  • Ability to communicate and present clearly, making the complex clear and compelling to all levels of the organization in both written & oral forms. Experience in developing issue sheets preferred.
  • Able to make decisions based on data and business acumen.
  • Ability to influence at his level within the Supply Chain, Commercial, Finance & other key cross functional partners, in a matrix environment and externally.
  • Customer and business focused - determined to deliver successful outcomes in a cost-effective way.
  • For DCL positions only, proficient in speaking and understanding Japanese language, preferably N2 level and above.

Education
  • University Bachelors Degree or equivalent, MBA or equivalent is a plus
  • Supply Chain Certification (APICS, IBF) is a plus

Experience:
  • 3-7 years of experience
  • Experience in ERP and planning systems, knowledge of digital capability tools

Working Conditions:
  • This role will be expected to work standard office hours, with flexibility for evenings or weekends as needed based on project deadlines and urgent matters.
