Finance Manager- Supply Chain

Supply Chain Finance Manager leading the Malaysia manufacturing plant and end to end Malaysia operations finance.

This position reports into the Sr Finance Director, Asia Pacific Supply Chain and is based at Jalan Tandang, Petaling Jaya, Malaysia

What You Will Do

• Deliver the overall Malaysia (MY) Plant Cost of Goods (COGS) - collaborating with regional pillar leads to provide insights on COGS during actual closing / planning cycles.

• Business Partner for Manufacturing Team (MAKE) and managing site spend for MY SC Operations - generating insights and analytical decision support for use in providing counsel, validating cost improvement initiatives, risk management, and decision-making recommendations.

• Finance representative on the Site Ops Leadership team and extending financial oversight for site operations as necessary.

• Provide strategic direction for the plant to achieve short and long term aspirations.

• Ensuring site level financial & SOX compliance responsibilities are met for controls where site finance is responsible.

• Support the costing team during the annual Standard Costing Cycle to ensure correct cost are rolled in and support in highlighting the variance vs previous year, key drivers and risk and opportunity.

• Any other special projects for which regional support may also be required.

What We Are Looking For

Required Qualifications

• 8-10 years of experience in finance or accounting, with a proven track record of success

• Strong knowledge of financial regulations and standards.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

• Proficient in financial software and systems.

Desired Qualifications

• Ability to work in a dynamic, matrix-style, complex environment

• Independent, self starter attitude

• Advanced knowledge of technical accounting and related business applications

• Strong knowledge/background in technical accounting areas supply chain accounting, currency matters and hedging transactions, and fixed asset accounting

• Experience with accounting systems such as SAP, OneStream, and Blackline

• Technical financial compliance experience

• CMA preferred
