032986 Logistics Assistant (Open)

Job Description:

For our steel and plastics manufacturing facility in Singapore we are seeking a Logistics Assistant to join our team onsite. Reporting to the Logistics and Warehouse manager, you are responsible for facilitating communication between production, sales and distribution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor the consumption of Warehouse/Logistic supplies and raise purchase requisition for replenishment

  • Monthly update of shipment booking information

  • Liaise with internal and external personnel on outbound shipments and ensure propershipment information are maintained

  • Liaise with courier service providers to ensure seamless delivery processes

  • Coordinate with customers’ training in charge to reserve safety training time slot

  • Monitor Warehouse/Logistic personnel safety permit expiry date and make suitable enrolment

  • Communicate course information to participants and address their queries

  • Maintain training matrix for Warehouse/Logistic team

  • Ensure logistic team manning chart is updated

  • Supporting cycle/inventory count

  • Maintain PPE issuing record and replenishment

  • Support daily operations tasks if required

Education and Experience

  • Typically possesses a diploma and up to 2 years of relevant experience.


Knowledge and Skills

  • Effective written and oral communication skills, good attention to detail, and the ability to effectively balance multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Demonstrates ability to work collaboratively with others as part of a team.
  • Understanding of Microsoft Office Suite and Warehouse Management Systems.
