Dell, Inc. is hiring a Consultant, Technical Program Management in South West District, 05. This is a full-time position.

As a Technical Program Management Consultant, you will serve as a strategic leader and enterprise-level change agent, shaping the vision, architecture, and execution of supply chain modernization initiatives that span multiple programs, business units, and global markets. You will:

1. Modernization Strategy & Vision

  • Define and evangelize the long-term product and technology vision for supply chain modernization, ensuring alignment with enterprise-level strategic objectives and market dynamics.
  • Shape roadmaps, balancing results and innovation with deep understanding of funding requirements, product team operating model
  • Translate complex, ambiguous business challenges into cohesive product strategies that unlock new revenue streams, competitive differentiation, and operational efficiencies at scale.
  • Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to senior and executive leadership, influencing enterprise-wide decisions on technology direction, capital allocation, and organizational design.
  • Identify and evaluate emerging industry trends, disruptive technologies, and competitive threats to proactively position the organization for long-term success.


2. Business Acumen & Strategy

  • Lead product strategy by leveraging new tools and technologies to simplify and modernize supply chain planning processes while delivering measurable financial outcomes.
  • Translate financial drivers and business priorities into actionable product decisions, including backlog grooming, reprioritization, technical resourcing, and roadmap acceleration.
  • Anticipate challenges and opportunities by identifying risks early, developing mitigation strategies, and driving data-informed decisions to ensure program success.


3. Leadership & Change Enablement

  • Champion transformational change by crafting and executing roadmaps aligned with supply chain goals.
  • Inspire and mentor a high-performing team of product managers, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous learning.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment and influence outcomes through clear communication and proactive stakeholder engagement.
  • Cultivate a collaborative, non-hierarchical team environment rooted in transparency and trust.


4. Product Execution & Technical Fluency

  • Own the product backlog and release planning, ensuring alignment with business priorities and technical feasibility.
  • Collaborate with engineering and data science teams to assess architecture, development velocity, and product quality.
  • Advocate for intuitive, user-centered design and accessibility across all digital touchpoints.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies, frameworks, and trends relevant to supply chain and digital commerce.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in new tools and technologies such as agents, LLMs & other artificial intelligence capabilities to build concepts, use-cases for modernization


5. Data-Driven Decision Making

  • Leverage data analytics to inform product strategy, measure success, and communicate impact through compelling storytelling.
  • Define and track success metrics tied to business outcomes such as revenue growth, retention, and cost savings.


6. Stakeholder Management

  • Apply ADKAR and negotiation frameworks to influence roadmap prioritization, funding decisions, and talent allocation.
  • Coordinate cross-functional efforts to implement change effectively, addressing resistance with empathy and clarity.

Essential Requirements:

  • 13+ years of experience in product management, technical program management, or related strategic roles, with a significant portion focused on supply chain, digital platforms, or enterprise-scale systems with a Bachelor Degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Strategic Domain Mastery: Extensive experience leading B2B and/or digital product management at the portfolio or enterprise level within supply chain, marketplace, or large-scale digital commerce environments, with authoritative knowledge of end-to-end supply chain operations, seller ecosystems, and platform economics.
  • Executive Leadership: Proven track record of leading large, distributed organizations through complex transformational change-influencing at the executive level, building consensus across competing interests, and driving outcomes with strategic gravitas and emotional intelligence.
  • Technical Depth & Breadth: Advanced understanding of MLOps, AI/ML, data science platforms, cloud-native architectures, agile-at-scale frameworks (SAFe, LeSS), and quality methodologies including design thinking, Six Sigma, and lean product development.
  • Analytical & Communication Excellence: Exceptional ability to synthesize quantitative and qualitative data into compelling executive narratives that drive alignment, investment, and action at the highest levels of the organization.
  • Enterprise Agility: Demonstrated ability to thrive in highly complex, matrixed environments with significant ambiguity-setting direction, absorbing complexity, and empowering teams to deliver with confidence and clarity.


Desirable Qualifications

  • Experience leading multiple agile release trains, large-scale program increments, and portfolio-level planning across global development centers.
  • Strong personal initiative, sound judgment, and a desire to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
