Location - Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia

We are looking for experienced Cybersecurity Tendering Engineer - Industrial Automation based in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia to become a valued member of Global Cybersecurity Solutions and Services Business Development team, supporting our rapidly growing global cybersecurity organization. This position will report to Regional Cybersecurity Business Leader of Middle East.

Your Mission:
  • Engaging with the cybersecurity front office team, both national and international clients, along with Schneider Electric groups to draft technical and commercial cybersecurity proposals.
  • Designing cybersecurity technical solutions architecture in collaboration with solution architects.
  • Drafting technical Bills of Materials (BoM) for hardware and software components.
  • Estimating engineering and documentation efforts.
  • Creating compliance statements for RFQ/RFP processes.
  • Responding to technical inquiries.
  • Developing comprehensive technical and commercial proposals.
  • Handling commercial and technical considerations, necessitating coordination with vendors, partners, delivery teams, and primarily Cybersecurity Business Consultants (CBC).
  • Preparing responses to Requests for Information (RFIs).
Your Responsibility:
  • Develop and implement a strategic plan to win orders.
  • Manage the preparation of proposals for a variety of customized cybersecurity service solutions by coordinating bidding activities with all relevant teams.
  • Review and manage customer inquiries to provide cost-effective and feasible solutions.
  • Submit detailed responses to inquiry documentation and address any subsequent requests for clarification promptly and efficiently.
  • Conduct customer site surveys as needed to estimate and generate scopes of work for suppliers related to cabling, cabinet spacing, site supervision, and network communication requirements.
  • Develop optimized costing during the quotation process.
  • Serve as the internal point of contact for customers throughout the inquiry and bidding processes, while external contact is managed by Sales.
  • Negotiate, develop, and confirm contract specifications with various external parties, including contractors, end-users, and OEM companies.
  • Maintain a prioritized list of outstanding tasks and ensure proper filing of quotes and cost files in the designated network location upon completion.
  • Collaborate with External Sales Managers or customer prospects to gather necessary information for producing sales proposals, including technical product selection, quotation documents, and costing through templates and technical specifications.
  • Provide office-based commercial and sales support for our External Sales Managers.
  • Assist in developing cost databases, customer and supplier databases, pricelists, and libraries.
  • Perform regular follow-ups on proposals, updating and maintaining the CRM and sales programs.
  • Interpret and cost solutions along with providing supporting information relevant to new projects.
  • Clarify purchase order receipts and prepare detailed handover documentation in a timely manner for Delivery to execute the contract successfully.
Qualifications

About You:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity.
  • Previous experience with Industrial Automation and Control Systems (IACS) such as Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Emergency Shutdown Systems (ESD), Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition Systems (SCADA), and Building Management Systems (BMS) is advantageous.
  • Experience in Operational Technology (OT) Networks and Enterprise/IT Networks.
  • Proficient knowledge of cybersecurity solutions and technical controls.
  • Understanding of high-availability networking technologies.
  • Familiarity with LAN, WAN, and related technologies.
  • Strong writing skills for effective communication with customers, Project Managers, and technical staff.
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage extensive information and adapt to rapidly changing data.
  • Effective interpersonal skills to negotiate customer priorities and resolve conflicts among project stakeholders.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 20 to 25%.
Your Qualifications:
  • Excellent Energy Management Experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in a computer related field
  • Strong experience of ISA/IEC 62443 standard and preferably holder of IC32 and IC34 certifications
  • Technical certifications preferred but not mandatory.
