Senior Design Firms Field Sales Representative II

The Design Firms Solutions Consultant role is about value-creation on opportunities with our customers (design firms, contractors and End-Users), design solutions that deliver differentiated value, support the business case behind every proposal, and grow into a trusted advisor for our key accounts. This is a consultative, customer-facing role at the intersection of technology, business strategy, and sales - ideal for someone who wants to move beyond product expertise into shaping how customers run their operations.

You will work closely with Sales, System Architects, Project Teams, and the wider Value Chain (EPC and System Integrator partners) to turn customer challenges into quantified, fundable transformation roadmaps.

The targeted segments for this role are Water and Wastewater, Mining, Transportation, Datacenters and Smart Buildings
What You'll Do

• Use your expertise in customer processes and apply Schneider Electric technology to solve real operational problems, building a convincing, quantified business case for change.
• Partner with Sales to define the account solution approach and co-build a customer transformation roadmap.
• Support Partners and System integrators in shaping the value proposition and technical offers for targeted opportunities, including conceptual design of differentiated, complex solutions.
• Orchestrate Proof of Value / Proof of Concept engagements with customers.
• Identify and generate new business opportunities within existing and prospective accounts.
• Following deployment, support Sales in tracking outcomes and discussing measured impact with the customer.

What We're Looking For
Core Competencies

• Strong understanding of customer systems and ecosystems, and the ability to translate that understanding into how customers run their business processes and applications in at least two of the following targeted segments: Water and Wastewater, Mining, Transportation, Datacenters and Smart Buildings
• At least ten years experience with design firms to design a clear blueprint for a solution and a credible strategy for building and deploying it.
• Confidence engaging customers in business-value conversations - not just technical ones - including presenting and defending a roadmap.
• Ability to lead internal teams and stakeholders to deliver new solutions and support strategic priorities.

• Excellent external communication skills, with high customer empathy
• Excellent French and English language
• Strong technical credibility and an established professional reputation within Design Firms Community
• Strong technical understanding of country standards and regulations
• Strong connection base with major Design Firms and EPC's
• Business acumen and strategic thinking - comfortable moving between technical detail and executive-level business cases.
• Passionate, resilient, and self-driven; comfortable operating with a degree of ambiguity in a consultative, opportunity-generating role.
