As part of Schneider Electric Industrial Automation Service Organization, the Consultant role is to support the activity to identity new opportunities for clients, finding and developing for them solutions which will address their operations challenges, leveraging Schneider Electric digital competencies and IoT - Software solutions. You will support regional and international industrial companies and team with senior experts in the domain to achieve results. It's both a hands-on role, directly in contact with clients as well as an entrepreneurship role to build the practices and methodologies required to scale successfully. Digital Transformation Consultant is one of the key enablers of customers' digital transformation, with a strong focus on processes, people, and technology. Consultants articulate the value proposition of digital transformation initiatives based on industry-specific, value-based use cases, Schneider Electric's best practices, and their own professional experience.

You'll have the opportunity to grow within a developing field, engaging across diverse business contexts and industries such as Heavy Industries, including Metals, Mining & Minerals, Energy & Chemicals; Water & Wastewater), while also gaining exposure to key practice areas like operational excellence, asset performance, and energy efficiency. Focusing on strategic industries, you'll work with innovative technologies, including digital IIoT platforms, engineering & operations tools, and artificial intelligence applications.

Role and activities

Industrial Diagnosis & Development

• Run business discovery sessions to structure customer challenges and ambition
• Animate workshops, conduct interviews, Perform Data analysis and process observation, mapping and build business case for change
• Realize on-site diagnosis, identify performance levers, and design transformation roadmap with the associated business case (Operations management, Asset management, energy management, and cybersecurity).

Digital Transformation Implementation

• Supported by Senior consultant during the project, solve customer problems leveraging your analytical, lean, process excellences skills.
• With our execution team, facilitate the deployment of digital solutions and change management with the customer operational team
• Across the project, providing analysis, reports and synthesis of the project progress and identified roadblocks to be address
• Act as a PMO, coordinate selected projects workstreams execution, with a capacity to drive adoption. Work on the field with the client team, to implement the transformation identified.

Experience

• Minimum 4 years of experience in consulting, business transformation, or industrial performance improvement.

• At least 2 years of experience with digital technologies such as Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Industrial IoT, Data Platforms, Digital Twin, and Advanced Analytics, etc...

• In-depth knowledge of processes and technologies in at least one of the following industries: Metals, Mining, Minerals, Energy & Chemicals, Water & Wastewater.

• Experience participating in or leading digital transformation programs at a single site or across multiple industrial sites.

• Proven ability to translate industrial challenges into digital solutions, aligning technological capabilities with business value.

• Experience in developing or contributing to digital maturity assessments, value-based use cases, and transformation roadmaps.

• Exposure to sustainability-driven initiatives (e.g. circularity, energy efficiency, ESG goals) is an advantage.

• Experience working in customer-facing consulting roles, including pre-sales, value proposition framing, and solution scoping.

Education

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or Economics, preferably with a focus on industrial sectors or technology-driven transformation.

• Additional education or certifications in areas such as Digital Strategy, Industry 4.0, Change Management, or Innovation Management are highly valued.

• A solid understanding of industrial processes and technologies is essential, ideally gained through academic specialization, executive education, or hands-on project experience in industrial environments.
