Description:

As the Regional Enterprise Architect for Hermès South Asia IT team, you'll play a crucial role in aligning local IT initiatives with the broader Group Architecture strategy.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Integration with Group Enterprise Architecture Team: Collaborating closely with the Group Enterprise Architecture team to ensure alignment with global, regional, and local projects. This involves participating in scoping discussions and seeing projects through to delivery.
  • Facilitating Architecture Reviews: Leading architecture reviews for emerging technologies and new system proposals. Providing a comprehensive view of how all components fit together ensures that solutions are well-integrated and aligned with business needs.
  • Management of Architecture Delivery: Overseeing the effective delivery of all aspects of architecture, including application design and integration, data architecture, and business architecture. This support spans various locations such as retail stores, corporate offices, distribution centers, and cyberspace.
  • Supporting Multi-functional Project Teams: Providing guidance and support to multi-functional project teams throughout the project lifecycle, from definition to deployment and optimization. Your expertise in digital experience and technology will be instrumental in ensuring that solutions align with strategic objectives.
  • Alignment with Strategy: Leveraging your deep knowledge of digital experience and technology to ensure that solution architecture aligns with the broader strategic goals of the organization. You'll act as a trusted advisor to the Regional CIO, IT Directors, and Group Architecture.
  • Designing Well-architected IT Services: Designing IT services that adhere to Group standards and policies, efficiently supporting business operations while maintaining alignment with architectural principles.

As the Regional Enterprise Architect for Hermès South Asia, you'll have a comprehensive scope of responsibility, covering retail store locations, corporate offices, distribution centers and omnichannel platform. Your role will involve providing support to multi-functional project teams throughout the entire project lifecycle, including definition, deployment, and optimization stages. The key success factor is the ability to effectively navigate the complexities of IT infrastructure across various business functions, leveraging their expertise to drive alignment with strategic goals and deliver impactful solutions that drive business success.

Your deep knowledge of digital experience and technology will be invaluable in aligning solution architecture with the overarching business strategy. The role is a trusted actor to Regional CIO, IT Directors, and Group Architecture.

About the Role:
  • Serve as the Regional IS Architecture Point of Contact (SPOC) in all matters of IT architecture and aligning with the Global & Group Architecture programs and strategies
  • Work closely within HSA Projects, Applications and Cybersecurity department and align efforts to make sure that all Information Technology matters are compliant to both the Group's architecture standards and local regulations.
  • Manage the on-boarding of technology solutions ensuring they align with the company's policies, guidelines, and expectations. You will work with all parties including project sponsors, vendors, IT operations, CyberSec and the Global Architecture team to validate projects architecture.
  • Design well-architected IT services to answer local business requirements to support and secure project's delivery.
  • Partner with the rest of the IT organization to ensure effective implementation and ongoing management of applications landscape, including local IS cartography.
  • Interface with management and the user community to understand business needs, implement IS architecture best practices, and identify opportunities for improving adaptability.
  • This role will report directly to the CIO of South Asia Region.

Profile:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience (min. 7 years) working as an Enterprise Architect similar role, with a strong background in software engineering, cybersecurity architecture, and cloud technology in a multinational company.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in planning, reporting, establishing goals and objectives, standards, and priorities.
  • Expertise in cybersecurity principles, practices, and technologies, including threat modeling, security architecture design, and risk management.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing platforms, services, and deployment models, with hands-on experience in cloud-native architectures and technologies.
  • In-depth knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman) and methodologies.
  • Experience with enterprise architecture tools and modeling techniques.
  • A knowledge of Agile Framework and organization is a plus.
  • A previous role in a recognized consulting firm is a plus
  • English speaking is mandatory.
